Mutual of Enumclaw Stands with Spokane Communities Impacted by Wildfires
Regional Insurer Deploys Claims Team and Resources to Help Members Recover
ENUMCLAW, Wash. — August 19, 2026 — As wildfires impacted communities throughout the Spokane area, Mutual of Enumclaw (MOE) was on the ground helping members, agents, and employees navigate the immediate challenges and begin the road to recovery. Mutual of Enumclaw is a mutual regional insurer specializing in personal, business, farm and ranch coverage in the Northwest.
As a company founded in Washington and serving the Northwest for more than 128 years, Mutual of Enumclaw has deep ties to the communities it serves. When the severity of the Spokane fires became apparent, MOE activated its catastrophe response and began reaching out directly to agents and members in impacted areas.
Experienced Mutual of Enumclaw adjusters are now on the ground in Spokane, working directly with members and moving claims forward as quickly as possible. Additional company resources are being deployed as needs are identified.
The company is also working with its independent agency partners throughout the affected area to identify immediate needs and ensure members know where to turn for assistance. MOE employees who have been personally affected by the fires are also receiving support.
Mutual of Enumclaw’s response reflects a commitment that goes beyond insurance.
