Welcome to Mutual of Enumclaw!

You’re joining a long line of people who for over 125 years have trusted us to help protect what matters most to them. We do not take that responsibility lightly.

For us, being thoughtful about how we serve our members is at the heart of everything we do. It’s what sets us apart. There’s simply nothing we love more than building a lasting relationship with our new members.

We draw on the inspiration of our farmer founders whose goal in 1898 was to help support and protect each other. The same inspiration, to thoughtfully look out for your neighbor, remains our guiding light today as we collaborate with our members, our local independent agent partners, and the communities we serve.

Our New Member Checklist

1. Create an online account: Through our Member Site, you can manage your membership on your schedule with 24/7 access to your policy and billing information, insurance ID cards, claims info, and more. Check out our Online Account FAQs here.

2. Download our mobile app: Available on the App Store® and Google Play™, the Mutual of Enumclaw mobile app allows you to view your proof of insurance ID card, manage your payments, file a claim, call for roadside assistance, and more.

3. Set your paperless preferences: Once you're signed in to our Member Site or mobile app, you can also sign up for paperless billing and paperless policy documents, which can help you reduce clutter, save time, and save trees!

4. Explore payment options: Learn more here about our convenient Easy Pay EFT program and other ways to pay online, by phone, or by mail.

5. Review our claims process: Our thoughtful claims service has earned the top customer satisfaction ranking1 as well as high marks from four out of five members2 and a more than 90 percent rating among independent agents.2

6. Conduct a home inventoryMake a list of the valuables in your home and take pictures, should they become necessary to support a claim down the road. Here's how to get started.

7. Review your policy details: Make a plan to go over your application or account with a Member Services rep and/or your agent to make sure the right vehicles, mortgage company/lienholders, and drivers are on the policy. 8. Pronounce Enumclaw like a local? Our company is headquartered in Enumclaw, Washington and part of our beautiful landscape includes the nearby Enumclaw Mountain. The mountain’s name is thought to originate in a Coast Salish story of two brothers―Enumclaw and Kapoonis―who were turned into thunder and lightning, respectively, by their father. We know "Enumclaw" can be a bear to pronounce, so here’s a quick demo!
