More Than a Century of Delivering Thoughtful Service
May 2025
Mutual of Enumclaw was founded in 1898 by a group of farmers looking for a way to help and protect each other. Farming was, and remains, a challenging enterprise, and the founders knew that being there for each other was invaluable.
Being a mutual is a key part of that mission. It means we aren’t owned or limited by stockholders who may have different priorities. It also means that you are a member―and an owner―not just a client. You’re part of a community.
Nationally Recognized Claims Service

How we manage claims is a central expression of our thoughtful approach to business. We understand that when you file a claim, it’s because something unfortunate has happened—hopefully not catastrophic, but that’s a possibility too. You come to us for attention and empathy and as speedy a resolution as possible. Delivering on those is always our aim, which is why our service has been nationally recognized.
Luckily, most people may never have to actually file a claim. We hope you never have to either. But if you do, here’s a quick rundown of some guidance and recommendations.
How to File an Auto Glass Claim
- Set up an online account with Mutual of Enumclaw. It’s not a requirement, but it can help.
- Report the claim through Safelite on our Member Site.
- If you don’t have an online account, use Safelite’s standard auto glass claim form.
Three Ways to Tackle All Other Claims
- Web: Report the claim on our Member Site.
- Phone: Call our Claims Response Center (available 24 hours a day, seven days a week) at 877-425-2580.
- Mutual of Enumclaw Mobile App: Our app makes it easy for you to file a claim right from your mobile device. You can also use it to view your Proof of Insurance ID card, call for roadside assistance, and more. Download it today on the App Store® or Google Play™.
- Nonmembers: Call the Claims Response Center, or contact us by email.
Claims Filing Tips
We know that speed is always a goal when it comes to claims. If you’re filing, you’re eager to get help as soon as you can. With that in mind, the first rule of thumb when filing is to have as much of your information on hand as possible. This should include the following:
- Your name, address, email address, and telephone number(s)
- Your policy number
- Date and time of the incident/loss
- A brief description of the incident/loss
- Contact information from anyone else involved in the incident
Be sure to check out our Claims FAQs for answers to common questions about different claims scenarios, too.
Next steps with your claim
Once your information has been shared with us, you’ll receive a claim number. You’ll also be assigned a claim adjuster who will guide you through the process. As part of that help, they will estimate your loss, possibly inspecting the damages,
and outline your coverage.
Mutual of Enumclaw will be here for you every step of the way, and regardless of the outcome, you can rely on us to respond clearly and empathetically.
A History of Putting Members First
We’ve been serving the American West for well over a century, today boasting members in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Montana, and Wyoming. In that time, we’ve embraced one lesson above all others: great service is always thoughtful service.
